Detroit-Hamtramck To Be GM\u2019s First Assembly Plant 100 Percent Devoted To Electric Vehicles<\/h3>\n

La visione di General Motors (NYSE: GM) di un futuro completamente elettrico sta diventando pi\u00f9 chiara e sta guadagnando slancio con un investimento di $2,2 miliardi nell'impianto di assemblaggio di Detroit-Hamtramck per produrre una serie di camion e SUV completamente elettrici. Il primo camion completamente elettrico di GM sar\u00e0 un pick-up la cui produzione \u00e8 prevista per la fine del 2021. Seguir\u00e0 subito dopo il Cruise Origin, un veicolo elettrico condiviso a guida autonoma presentato da Cruise a San Francisco la scorsa settimana. Detroit-Hamtramck sar\u00e0 il primo impianto di assemblaggio di veicoli elettrici completamente dedicato da GM.<\/p>\n

GM investir\u00e0 inoltre altri $800 milioni di euro in attrezzature per i fornitori e in altri progetti legati al lancio dei nuovi camion elettrici.<\/p>\n

Dall'autunno del 2018, GM si \u00e8 impegnata a investire pi\u00f9 di $2,5 miliardi in Michigan per portare i veicoli elettrici sul mercato attraverso investimenti nell'assemblaggio di Orion, nel laboratorio di batterie GM a Warren, a Brownstown e l'investimento diretto annunciato oggi a Detroit-Hamtramck.<\/p>\n

Le officine di verniciatura e carrozzeria e l'area di assemblaggio generale dello stabilimento riceveranno aggiornamenti completi, tra cui nuove macchine, nastri trasportatori, controlli e attrezzature.<\/p>\n
