The new stations demonstrate the company\u2019s commitment to growing electric vehicle (EV) adoption and charging accessibility throughout Ontario and across Canada.<\/p>\n<p>The Ontario cities of Welland, Agincourt, London, Barrie and Kingston will be the latest to host Electrify Canada\u2019s ultra-fast 150 to 350-kilowatt (kW) chargers. Electrify Canada\u2019s first charging station was opened in the fall of 2019 at Toronto Premium Outlets.<\/p>\n<p>Three of the six Ontario stations are operational; the remaining three will open to public charging in the first quarter of 2020. The stations are located along major transit highways and metro areas to provide easy access to amenities like shopping, food and restrooms, building upon Electrify Canada\u2019s mission to provide fast, convenient charging to all EV drivers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Ontario stations are located at:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Halton Hills \u2013 13850 Steeles Avenue, W, Halton Hills, ON <em>(open)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Welland \u2013 Canadian Tire, 158 Primeway Dr., Welland, ON <em>(open)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Agincourt \u2013 Canadian Tire, 4630 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt, ON <em>(open)<\/em><\/li>\n<li>London \u2013 Canadian Tire, 1125 Wellington Road, London, ON<\/li>\n<li>Barrie \u2013 Canadian Tire, 75 Mapleview Drive W, Barrie, ON<\/li>\n<li>Kingston \u2013 Canadian Tire, 2560 Princess St. Kingston, ON<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>EV drivers can locate Electrify Canada charging stations: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electrify-canada.ca\/locate-charger\">https:\/\/www.electrify-canada.ca\/locate-charger<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis expansion is another step towards bringing greater EV mobility to all drivers,\u201d said Robert Barrosa, chief operating officer at Electrify Canada. \u201cThe new locations were carefully chosen to help power drivers\u2019 journeys throughout the province, and we couldn\u2019t be prouder to offer a fast, easy and convenient charging network.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The company is planning a network of 32 stations across Ontario, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia, projected to be complete by the end of 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The 150kW to 350kW chargers will service the longer range, larger battery vehicles coming to market in the near future and will deliver 50kW
