Dassault Systèmes and AutoFlight have released details of their strategic cooperation, with the two parties set to build a collaborative R&D platform covering the entire process of AutoFlight’s product development based on Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE.
They will carry out in-depth cooperation in the field of eVTOL end-to-end digital product development.
As a leading global industrial software giant, Dassault Systèmes has participated extensively in aerospace projects over the past 40 years, from traditional large commercial aircraft to the booming eVTOL companies.
They deploy the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform as their digital support platform and provides comprehensive support through digital twin technology, covering all aspects from design and simulation to manufacturing.
AutoFlight and Dassault Systèmes will work closely together to build an integrated product lifecycle development platform covering technology management, engineering design, simulation, process and other businesses to serve the development of eVTOL products.
The partnership will seek to redefine the new generation of Advanced Air Mobility with digital methods, processes, platforms and tools, and work together to promote the rapid development of new quality productivity in the domestic low-altitude economic industry.
Tian Yu, Chairman and CEO of AutoFlight, said, “Dassault Systèmes has an important position in the aviation industry. Through cooperation with Dassault Systèmes, we will enhance AutoFlight’s digital innovation capabilities and core competitiveness in collaborative design and project management, improve the product development system guided by forward design, and accelerate the development and airworthiness certification of AutoFlight’s series of products.”
Zhang Ying, Managing Director of Dassault Systèmes Greater China, added, “Dassault Systèmes was born in the aviation industry and has accumulated profound and systematic industry excellent practices in the fields of research and development, innovation, production and manufacturing, maintenance and operation.
“AutoFlight and Dassault Systèmes are both innovation leaders in the industry. With this strategic cooperation, we will fly together in the low-altitude economy and eVTOL industry.”
