Rolls-Royce kommer att samarbeta med APUS, ett flygteknikf\u00f6retag baserat i Strausberg, n\u00e4ra Berlin, och Brandenburgs tekniska universitet (BTU), Cottbus, f\u00f6r att utveckla en hybridelektrisk flygdemonstrator baserad p\u00e5 sitt hybrid M250 framdrivningssystem. Systemet kan anv\u00e4ndas p\u00e5 en rad olika transportplattformar f\u00f6r att m\u00f6jligg\u00f6ra distribuerad elektrisk framdrivning, inklusive EVTOL (hybridelektriska vertikala start- och landningsfordon), allm\u00e4nflygplan och hybridhelikoptrar i framtiden.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Dirk Geisinger, Director Business Aviation och ordf\u00f6rande Rolls-Royce Deutschland, sa: \u201cVi tackar Brandenburgs regering f\u00f6r deras fortsatta st\u00f6d och \u00e4r mycket glada \u00f6ver att f\u00e5 arbeta med APUS och Brandenburgs tekniska universitet i detta banbrytande demonstratorprogram. Att ansvara f\u00f6r funktionsmodellering av elhybridsystem, dynamisk modellering av systemprestanda och testst\u00f6d f\u00f6r elektromekaniska system bekr\u00e4ftar v\u00e5r starka kompetens inom detta omr\u00e5de och utg\u00f6r ett f\u00f6rsta synligt steg i v\u00e5r strategi att samarbeta med Rolls-Royce om h\u00e5llbar framdrivning av flygplan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Phillip Scheffel, Chief Executive Officer, APUS aeronautical engineering GmbH, tillade: \u201cSom leverant\u00f6r av testflygplan f\u00f6r Iron Bird, design av installationsh\u00e5rdvara och installationspartner f\u00f6r hybridsystem \u00e4r vi angel\u00e4gna om att f\u00f6ra detta projekt fram\u00e5t och att uppn\u00e5 experimentellt flygtillst\u00e5nd tillsammans. Att f\u00e5 finansiering fr\u00e5n Brandenburgs regering bidrar i h\u00f6g grad till att f\u00f6rverkliga v\u00e5ra sp\u00e4nnande planer och m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r betydande l\u00e4rdomar f\u00f6r en rad andra elektrohybrida flygplanssystem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Finansiering f\u00f6r detta hybridelektriska flygprojekt s\u00f6ktes inom ramen f\u00f6r ProFIT-riktlinjerna som utf\u00e4rdats av Brandenburgs ekonomi- och energiministerium. Ans\u00f6kan l\u00e4mnades in i den typiska tv\u00e5stegsprocessen med st\u00f6d av Wirtschaftsf\u00f6rderung WFBB och delstaten Brandenburgs bank f\u00f6r f\u00f6retagsutveckling, ILB. Det systemdemonstratorprojekt som presenterades idag kommer att integrera en M250 gasturbinmotor med ett batterisystem med h\u00f6g energit\u00e4thet, elektriska generatorer, kraftomvandlare och ett avancerat krafthanterings- och kontrollsystem.<\/p>\n<p>Hybridkraftaggregatet M250 kompletterar AE 2100 2,5 MW-systemet som utvecklas f\u00f6r st\u00f6rre flygplan, inklusive regionalflyg, och som testas tillsammans med Airbus p\u00e5 demonstratorplattformen E-Fan-X.<\/p>\n<p>Gasturbinmotorn M250 har drivit mer \u00e4n 170 olika typer av helikoptrar och flygplan med fasta vingar, i b\u00e5de milit\u00e4r och civil tj\u00e4nst.
