Testerna, som genomf\u00f6rdes i en vindtunnel n\u00e4ra Lucerne i Schweiz, anv\u00e4nde en skalenlig modell av Eves eVTOL som ber\u00e4knas tas i drift 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Vindtunnelprovning \u00e4r ett viktigt tekniskt verktyg som anv\u00e4nds vid utvecklingen av ett flygplan.  Testningen g\u00f6r det m\u00f6jligt f\u00f6r ingenj\u00f6rerna att \u00f6vervaka luftfl\u00f6det \u00f6ver och runt fordonet och alla dess enskilda delar. Det anv\u00e4nds ocks\u00e5 f\u00f6r att m\u00e4ta de aerodynamiska krafter och moment som verkar p\u00e5 fordonet, vilket g\u00f6r det m\u00f6jligt f\u00f6r teamet att utv\u00e4rdera fordonets lyftkraft, effektivitet, flygegenskaper och prestanda.<\/p>\n<p>Huvudsyftet med testet var att unders\u00f6ka och validera hur komponenter som flygplanskropp, rotorer, vingar, stj\u00e4rt och andra ytor skulle fungera under flygning.  Vindtunnelprovning ger en unik bild av aerodynamiskt beteende hos komplex geometri och ger en h\u00f6gre niv\u00e5 av validering av designegenskaper. Dess m\u00e4nniskocentrerade design s\u00e4kerst\u00e4ller s\u00e4kerhet, tillg\u00e4nglighet och komfort f\u00f6r passagerare, piloten och samh\u00e4llet genom att minimera buller. Flygplanet har en lift + cruise-konfiguration med dedikerade rotorer f\u00f6r vertikal flygning och fasta vingar f\u00f6r cruise-flygning, utan att n\u00e5gra komponenter beh\u00f6ver byta position under flygningen.
