Formula E Reveals Gen 2 EVO World Championship Car

• – Newly named Gen2 EVO to make competitive debut in 2020/21 season of ABB FIA Formula E World Championship

La Formula E e la FIA hanno dato oggi ai fan una prima occhiata alla nuova Gen2 EVO, con un design rinnovato che debutterà nella settima stagione, quando la serie di corse elettriche gareggerà sotto la bandiera dell'ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

In vista di un'altra stagione fondamentale, la prima vettura di Formula E a gareggiare per il campionato mondiale ha ricevuto una serie di modifiche al design strutturale, con un nuovo alettone anteriore, una pinna dorsale, un caratteristico alettone posteriore curvo e una nuova livrea del campionato.

Le modifiche alla carrozzeria sono state apportate a metà dell'attuale ciclo quadriennale dell'era "Gen2", per dare un nuovo look alla Formula E. La vettura continuerà a essere equipaggiata con pneumatici MICHELIN Pilot Sport da 18 pollici per tutte le stagioni, appositamente progettati per l'uso sia sul bagnato che sull'asciutto.

Le immagini CGI all'avanguardia mostrano lo stesso telaio e la stessa carrozzeria che ogni partecipante utilizzerà nella settima stagione, mentre le regole rimangono aperte per consentire ai team di progettare e sviluppare i propri componenti elettrici e le parti per la catena cinematica.

Le coperture saranno tolte per la prima volta dalla Gen2 EVO sullo stand FIA al Salone Internazionale dell'Automobile di Ginevra il 3 marzo.
