The e-MTB range for 2024 expands with the introduction of the Powerstage RR Limited Edition, Ducati’s most exclusive e-enduro model developed to tackle the most extreme off-road conditions. The name Powerstage, in fact, recalls a new type of special stage recently introduced in the e-enduro circuits which consists in tackling, in addition to the classic downhill stages, a technical uphill route, testing both the skills of athletes competing in the races and the performance level of the vehicle.

The “full carbon” frame has undergone lengthy testing on the toughest routes with a single goal: to guarantee maximum performance in the enduro field. The choices on the arrangement of the carbon layers and on the types of fiber intertwining are the result of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) analysis which allows identifying the points subject to greater stress, which therefore requires greater strength. More attention to stiffness has been given to the steering area, the rear chain stay and the engine area reinforced by two ribs (T-Ribs).

No quadro, há muitos outros detalhes funcionais de alta qualidade, como a passagem de cabos internos, protegidos por um sistema de parada de direção (T-Stopper), rolamentos nas articulações, em contato direto com o carbono sem o uso de buchas e um suporte de corrente traseiro assimétrico, que, além de um design cativante, oferece melhor capacidade de resposta e tração em subidas.

As soluções geométricas adotadas tornam a Powerstage RR extremamente rápida e estável nas rotas mais difíceis. O ângulo verticalizado de 78° do tubo do selim permite que o ciclista assuma uma posição ideal no selim em seções técnicas de subida, e o ângulo frouxo de 64° do tubo do cabeçote ajuda a superar qualquer obstáculo em alta velocidade.

The new Shimano EP801 drive unit represents a benchmark for the category and maintains the native characteristics of the EP8: 250 Watts of nominal power and 85 Nm of torque, always delivered with the utmost fluidity and naturalness over a wider cadence range than ever before. The new system features two preconfigured assistance profiles: “long ride”, to favor autonomy on long tours and “fast ride”, to enjoy maximum performance on shorter outings. By means of the “Fine Tune” mode present on the Shimano “E-Tube Project” app, it is possible to create your own profiles thanks to the extensive possibilities for customizing the electric assistance. The removable 630Wh Shimano battery is positioned inside the “verticalized” downtube in order to lower the center of gravity, improving the balance of the bike.

O garfo pneumático Öhlins RXF38 m.2 (7,1 pol. de curso) e o amortecedor de mola Öhlins m.2 com tecnologia TTX (6,7 pol. de curso) são totalmente ajustáveis tanto na recuperação quanto na compressão, em altas e baixas velocidades, garantindo precisão e estabilidade na pilotagem.

O câmbio eletrônico traseiro sem fio SRAM GX AXS de 12 velocidades proporciona trocas de marchas imediatas e precisas em todos os momentos. Os freios Braking First com manetes personalizados da Ducati Corse e discos de 203 mm (8 pol.) de espessura e 3 mm (12 pol.) estão entre os mais potentes atualmente no mercado.

As rodas Crankbrothers Synthesis com formato diferenciado (29” na dianteira, 27,5” na traseira) com aros de carbono de espessura variável ajudam a melhorar ainda mais a precisão da direção, garantindo uma excelente relação peso/força. Os pneus são Pirelli Scorpion Enduro S na dianteira e Pirelli Scorpion EMTB-S na traseira para oferecer o máximo de aderência e aderência.

O equipamento é complementado por um espigão de selim telescópico, um guidão de carbono Renthal e um selim Fizik com um suporte de ferramentas especial integrado.
